Whole connection operates on principle of full-wave regulator controlled by U2008Bcircuit and it is suitable for speed control of drills and other devices with input up to 450W. For engine control of higher input, it is necessary to use another triac and corresponding cooler. Attention, controlled device must not include any own internal regulation. When the temperature is around 20° to 25°C, voltage on fan motoris about 2 Volts lower. In accordance with lower voltage, the motor speed is lower and volume of blowed air is lower. When the temperature increased, than proportionaly increase working voltage on fan motor and volume of blowed air is higher. The circuit diagram is designed for fan 80x80mm/1.4W/12V, used in PC power supplies. Conversion for other fans and temperatures is suitable and construction manual includes detail description.
