| NiCd
and NiMH accumulators are supplied in a discharge
state(zero capacity). Generally is charging under current
1/10C for period 14-16h(C is capacity of cells, e.g. cell
with C=1Ah will be charging with current 0,1A). By
selected accumulators is given other, usually shorter
period of charging. That can be aplicated with use of
high-quality charger, with evaluation charging schedule.
Accumulators in industrial design are destinated for
accupacks. Because they usually have flat positive (+)
contact, they can't be used in classic (commercial)
battery holder. It's forbidden to solder directly on the
case of accumulators. For this use are supplied designs
with soldering terminals (bands). Imax=maximal discharging
current, which can be taken from accumulators. Ri=inner
impedance of cells. |
